🔧 Tools Needed

Gather these tools before starting:

  • Phillips screwdriver or drill with drill bit
  • Level
  • Pencil or marker
  • Measuring tape
  • Hammer

Optional: Stud finder for extra secure mounting

1

Measure from truck hole center to truck hole center

Using the skateboard deck you are hanging take a truck hole spacing measurement as shown above. Common measurements are 16-1/8" and 16-1/4". Be sure to measure from center of hole to center of hole.

2

Mark your desired deck position on the wall

Hold the deck against the wall to determine your desired height. Mark the center of the top truck holes to establish your primary reference point

3

Draw alignment guides

Using a level, draw vertical and horizontal lines through your reference mark to create alignment guides. Make sure lines are at least 4" so they are visible for the next steps

4

Transfer center-to-center measurement

Measure from the center of your reference mark using the truck hole spacing from Step 1. Mark this distance along the same vertical centerline to establish the second mounting point.

5

Draw second alignment guides

Using a level, draw vertical and horizontal lines through the second reference mark, just as you did for the first location.

6

Mark Board Block mounting holes

Place a Board Block centered on each alignment crosshair. Using a pencil or marker, mark the two mounting hole locations for each block.

Pro Tip: If installing into drywall, insert one of the supplied screws through the block and press it into the wall to leave a precise impression.

7

Install drywall anchors

Align each drywall anchor with your marked mounting holes and gently hammer them flush with the wall.

Pro Tip: If mounting directly into a stud, anchors are not needed. Skip to next step.

8

Secure Board Block

Insert the mounting screws and hand-tighten until the Board Block sits snug against the wall. Do not over-tighten.

If using a drill, set it to a very low torque setting.

Pro Tip: This is a good time to touch up any wall marks. If desired, the Board Block can be primed and painted to match your wall.

9

Install deck and mounting screws

Insert one supplied machine screw into each of the eight truck mounting holes on the deck.

Extra Credit: Align (index) all screw heads in the same orientation for a refined, uniform appearance.

10

Final Adjustments

Installation complete. Your deck is now securely mounted and ready to display.
